We are a small, independent, family-run company, founded in 1980, to create illustrated information books for young children, aged 5 to 9. The success of our books lies in their ability to captivate children’s imagination and hold their attention through the quality of the artwork and design, and the clarity of the text.

We are passionate about learning. Our books and apps nurture children’s innate curiosity about the world around them and explain how things work and how plants, animals and people interact with their environment in everyday life. Importantly, our books encourage children to discover the world from their own unique perspective.
