The end of a era for Moonlight, a new chapter for My First Discoveries

After 46 wonderful years of bringing captivating children’s non-fiction to young readers, we are writing to share some important news regarding the future of Moonlight Publishing.

As of 31 March, Moonlight Publishing will be ceasing its operations.

Since the founding of Moonlight in 1980, we have sought to nurture children’s innate curiosity about the world around them through innovative design and captivating artwork. Our My First Discoveries series has inspired millions of young readers across several generations. You can read a fuller account of our 46-year journey here: History of Moonlight Publishing.

Continuity through Jame Clement Publishing Services (JCPS)

While the story of Moonlight is closing, we are pleased to announce the continuity of My First Discoveries. The series will now be managed through James Clement Publishing Services (JCPS), where I will continue to oversee our trade relationships and series development.

From 1 April, JCPS will handle:

• Export Sales: Bulk sales of existing stock of the My First Discoveries series for our international export partners.

• Co-editions: The management of co-edition orders for the My First Discoveries series in hardback format.
